Dopo anni di attesa sul forum ufficiale Atari è apparsa notizia dove viene annunciato che roller coaster tycoon 4 verrà fatto.

- realism (sense it is a "roller coaster" simulator, never understood why things like loading terminals or secondary tracks (holding cars in wait) where not included. If anything , the details of the coasters should be top priority. Lighting as well, you know the chained lights flashing in different incriments. We had this on flat rides, but why no lighting for costers other then the cars themselves?
- Path crossing (never understood why I wasnt able to put my train track across a path and have a crossing gate work. Modders did this later, but alas I was expecting this sort of detail in rct3)
- Love being able to ride the rides, a must to keep in rct4
- Realistic rides, (some of these "imagination" or could be rides are nuts, to many on your belly or back rides , how about just some fun old coasters )
- More flat rides and or options
- DLC (I know people will hate this idea, but personally if done right you could make a mint off of it, why do i mention it? because the more a company can make on something the more quality it will become, the catch here is to make sure the base of the game is fufilling on its own and not a shell with a ton of dlc later)
- custom shops and or resturants. (in the end , I see rtc as a roller coaster sim, but it also became a park sim, where we could recreate parks we love or make our own "perfect" park. A time ago, you guys even had deals with hershy and sixflags, might want to revist those and really show them what a good invesment would do into something like this in adverstiment. If done right, I would use a ton of sixflags iconic items etc to make a real park, but the fun is in the details .... this is a simulation, let me see DETAILS!
Ride Realism: Been mentioned enough. Rollercoasters should have more options like the maintainence bay, catwalks, ect...
Flat rides need to get rid of the square base! This way people can design there own area around the ride, and make the queue/scenery interact with the ride itself.
NO COLLISION DETECTION (or at least the option to turn it off)
This gets seriously anoying, the majority of people on here can see whether somethings to close to something else, we dont need prompting. Get rid of this and then the scenery in the game would get used much more often (especially the trees)
Water rides! These are badly unrealistic in rct3. Log flumes need to be able to go into the water.
The rapids ride is ridiculous! It needs to be much more versatile. They need to be able to blend into the ground (aspose to being stuck ontop of it) In most parks these rides wind under paths bridges and all around areas of parks...This is impossible to do well in rct3. These types of rides are almost never built in there own sqaure area. The wider/thin track option was good...but the way it looks was pretty naff. Ability to build in water would be good too
Rollercoaster construction: This is probably the area needing the most improving. A system that is much more free would be miles better. Something along the lines of building piece by piece, then being able to alter vertical angle - and - angle of banking. This would mean you can create ANY element you like. Any type of drop and any type of corner...much better
- curved paths

a parte il fatto che non ho visto notizia su nessun sito di videogames famoso direi che non si può ne confermare ne sconfermare che sia in produzione xD
