According to a Screamscape source, the land owner is actually seeking to rezone 7 acres of the property to be used for office space. According to a quote sent in from the application, “the southwest portion of the subject property is being rezoned from AC-3/SP to O-1/SP so that the site's zoning will be consistent with the recently adopted Office Low Intensity future land use designation.” So… looks like the Orlando Thrill Park is still dead in the water."
